SYSTEM: MyMSJC Account Management SMS/Text Message Outage

UPDATE: SMS / text message service outage was resolved on 5/14/18 at 2:00pm, services have been fully restored.

Starting at 12:00 AM on May 14, 2018, our third-party service that provides SMS / text message services experienced an outage.  This ongoing outage keeps MyMSJC Account Management from being able to send text messages for validating cell phones during the sign-up process as well as for password resets.

The SMS provider has been contacted and is aware of the problem.  We will update this notification when we have more information.

While this outage is occurring, the password reset process has been modified to default to email.
